How an engagement runs
Employment consulting for finance, accounting, and controlling careers follows a clear sequence so you know what happens before, during, and after a session.
-
Enquiry and fit check
You write via the contact form or email with a short description of your situation — current role, target direction, and timing. We reply to confirm whether a consultation is the right format, or whether a document review alone would suffice.
-
Intake materials
Before a career advisory or transition mapping session, you complete a brief questionnaire and share your current Lebenslauf. For interview preparation, you send the job posting and interview stage. Incomplete materials delay the appointment; we will say so rather than run a hollow session.
-
Fee confirmation
We confirm the applicable rate from our published guidance, note any uplift for accelerated turnaround, and send payment terms. Work is scheduled once you accept in writing. There is no card checkout on this site.
-
The working session
Meetings run in person in Weidhausen when practical, or by video call. We work from your documents and constraints — language level, commute limits, salary floor — and resist inventing paths that German hiring managers will not recognise.
-
Written follow-up
Within three business days of an advisory session you receive a short summary of decisions and next actions. Application reviews return annotated files. Transition maps arrive as a one-page working document after the second session.
-
Optional next step
Some clients book a later interview rehearsal or a second advisory after applications begin. Each piece of work is scoped separately; nothing renews automatically.
What we do not do inside an engagement
- Guarantee interviews or job offers
- Contact employers or headhunters on your behalf
- Provide immigration, visa, or tax advice
- Run open-ended coaching retainers without a defined deliverable
Preparation that helps
Bring honesty about constraints. A session that pretends unlimited relocation flexibility, or ignores a language ceiling, produces advice you cannot use. Name the floor early.
