Finance Career Advisory Session

This advisory session is for people who already work in finance or accounting and need a clear, Germany-specific view of where they stand. We look at how your experience translates into local titles, what hiring managers in Mittelstand and corporate controlling teams typically expect, and which gaps — language, SAP familiarity, HGB exposure — matter most for the roles you want.

Sessions are deliberate and practical. We do not invent a career narrative that employers will not recognise. Instead we name the trade-offs: staying in operational accounting versus moving into controlling, accepting a lateral move for language practice, or waiting for the right seniority band in Bayern or further afield.

The written follow-up is short on purpose. It lists the decisions you made in the room, the documents you should update next, and one or two concrete research tasks — not a generic action plan recycled from another client.

Who it is for

Finance, accounting, and controlling professionals relocating to or advancing within Germany

What is included

• Review of your current role, qualifications, and German market positioning
• Clarification of realistic target titles (Finanzbuchhalter, Controller, Bilanzbuchhalter, Head of Controlling)
• Discussion of salary bands and regional hiring patterns
• A written summary of agreed next steps within three business days

What is not included

• Job placement guarantees or direct introductions to employers
• Writing of CVs or cover letters (available as a separate engagement)
• Legal immigration or visa advice

How it runs

1. You share a brief questionnaire and your current Lebenslauf before the session
2. We meet for 90 minutes to map options and constraints
3. You receive a concise written follow-up with priorities and suggested actions
